WEAVING 3D PRINTING

This collection brings together the skills developed through years of work with clay 3D printing. The pieces are designed to demonstrate full G-code control over the printing process. The collection focuses on the weaving method in which, similar to textile structures, complex patterns emerge from interlacing of a single continuous line.

The experimentation goes different clay bodies, porcellains and stonewares. Playing with colors, glazes and techniques. On the bottom layer, a reaction diffusion pattern with a square slot to allocate my stamp, my signature.

Weaving is a technique possible to achieve with through the manipulation of the G-code, accessing full control over the movements of the 3D printer. This allows meaningfull improvements beyond just aestetic outcomes.
