LOOPING 3D PRINTING
Looping is a primarily aesthetic technique in which predefined toolpaths generate overhanging loops of material, forming floating, melting-like structures across the surface of the object.
Due to the tensile force created by the looped paths, the material pulls outward from the core structure, making the system highly unstable and difficult to control during printing. For this reason,
multiple trials were required to achieve a stable, non-symmetrical
standing piece.
